Painting truck

The truck is white and has a few dings along with s great swirljob some weekend worrior put on it. I want to pull all the badges off. Also have a new bumper and hood that needs to be sprayed. Whats a good ballpark figure to paint a 04 cc lb?

we will need some more details..but for a good reputable shop to do it..for that size truck would probably be 3,000+..and the whole problem with it is more than likely it will not fit in alot of paint booths....so then it has to come apart etc...is it staying white?? whose taking everything off?? some companys let you do the prep work and save yourself some money...

Yes It would be staying white and a company down the road from me has 2 facilities. One for standard vehicals and another for semi trucks and so forth. I just found that out this morning but I need to run by and see what they will charge, and if I can prep myself. So around 3K is pretty much typical right

I would say around 3k+ is a typical price and that over sized booth makes it perfect! but then you get into whether or not you want door jambs etc..let us know how it goes

I think you're more then $3,000 for a quality job. Paint shops around me wont touch a car for less than 7-8,000. I paid $5700 for a very nice stock color paintjob with minimal bodywork on a strawberry metallic notchback.

I can agree with that quote but with the truck being only a few years old there is not alot of body work to be done....When I had my 90 5.0 hatch done it was $2500 to be sprayed back black jambs and all ..I guess it depends on your area plus my dad has known him for 27 years and the car had no rust and only 2 door dings....It all depends on where you go...8k is a heck of a lot ...and better have real type flames on it, or the paint tearing away etc..for just a solid color i dont think it will be that much..
