My BTS Trip

The trip went well with only a few exceptions, The truck is completly differant in a good way. I never expected the BTS tranny to be what it is. Until you experiance a BTS you don't know what your missing.
Here is some of my trip

Who says there is no room in the engine bay??

The parts removed are steady growing

Ah oh Trouble in Lead Hill. Nothing like a cracked piston to ruin your evening

A little hammering action going on?

Chris is sliding in some new bearrings

Fire rings and rev kit

Studs and big oil

ITP regulated return

Back in and running Tuesday evening

Here are the in tank fuel filters removed durring the tank mod. Not too much crud on them

All under hood fab work finished

one more of it going in

I'd like to thank Brian, Patty, Cale, Chris, and Jeremey for all thier hard work and hospitality while we where there. Everyone worked really hard to make our stay go smoothly and get us on our way. We started pulling on Monday Morning and had the truck running Tuesday evening. Finished up a bunch of odds and ends Wednsday and pulled out in the evening just ahead of the bad weather.

The truck is extreamly driveable and a pure joy to drive. EGTS have never been lower as long as I've had the truck. Towing in any chip setting still will not give high EGTS while towing 7k even up hill. And it will go as fast as you want up that hill.

A Big thanks goes to Jody at DP tunner for having a good workable game plan and a good tune in all programs.

I have some fine tunning to do and get a couple of things finished up, but the trip was a great sucsess.

I learned so much it's not funny. Did anyone know you can pull a 6.0 in less time than the dealer gives for lifting the cab?

Thats one sharp bunch at BTS.

I've heard nothing but rave reviews about Brian, Patty and the gang at BTS. If and when my Monsterbox gives out...they will be the first place I call.

Sooo...looking forward to the Spring Smokin I assume.

Any Idea why the piston cracked, you have more pics of it? We are fighting that issue in Duramax land now and any info I can get I am all over it.

Another q from a dummy in Ford world, what was the actual upgrades? Looks like some fancy parts on there, help a brother out with some splaining....
