Replacing a mirror

Hey:

I am replacing the mirror assembly on my 2002 F250 - it's a power towing mirror. I took the bolts off to remove the assembly, but what I can't figure out is how to get to the disconnect on the wiring harness. I don't have to take the door panel off do I?

Thanks.
James

Yepers you sure do. It's not hard though. There is a small screw insde the door light and one somewhere else, that escapes me now but the door light one is the hard one to spot. Then just gently lift up on the door panel and work it over the handle. You can pop out the window switches and fish them back through the opening.

You are welcome but it really is not as bad as it sounds. 5 minutes even if it's the first time, with a bad flashlight. I think the other screw is at the door handle or pull area. I'd go look but it is way too cold.
