Any Dually's running 22''s or 22.5''s wheels??

Im trying to decide between the two, just wondering if anyone knows any info why I should do one over the other. I like the look of both but one guy said with the 22.5's I should get bigger brakes and 4:56 gears. Also wondering if this setup will cause any rubbing or turning issues thanks

I don't think you would need to go with bigger brakes or 4.56 gears. Only if you lift it and go to a larger size tire. You can actually get a tire that will fit 22's. I have read about guys with 305-40-22 Khumo stx tires. The 305 is actually the same exact height as the factory 16's.... But a 22.5 or 24.5 inch rim might have a lot better selection tires. The big rig tires last like 150,000 miles....

there is alot of information on this site...

Good luck,

No need for bigger brakes or gears in my opinion with the 22.5's. My boy turns 22.5s no problem at all on his chevy 3500 LBZ. The overall dimension of his tires measure right at 36". I would opt for the 22.5's as well.
