How many quarts

I recently replaced the rearend fluid(04 350 srw)and i put in 1 8oz bottle of friction modifier and about 3 quarts of fluid.Does that sound right?I thought it took about 4 quarts.I got as much as the old fluid out as i could.

Sounds right, if you experience any clutch chatter do a few figure 8's in a mall parking lot before you add more modifier.

Did you use the really stinky stuff? (modifier)

The clear odorless Ford stuff is junk.
