Lift kit and wheels offset/back spacing ?'s

I have an 06' F250 with factory 20" wheels. I want to do a lift kit. I first just wanted a leveling kit but I want to do 20" wheels with 35X12.50 tires and I don't think a leveling kit will do the trick. So I think a 4" lift is in the future. Is the DR 4.5" lift kit $800 better than a Superlift 4" kit. I noticed Superlift offers a Bilstein shock upgrade which I would do, so is the DR really that much better?

Also, what backspacing and offset will work with the tire size 35X12.50 and a 4" lift? I have found some wheels that are 20X9 with a +14 offset and 5 5/8 backspacing. Would that be better that a wheel with 0 or -1 offset and 4 1/2 or 4 5/8 backspacing?

Thanks for your input

Brent

you can fit 35" tires under your truck w/ just a leveling kit.

i would suggest a 4.5 DR lift, everyone that i have talked to that has one are really happy with their kit, and their shocks are really good too.
here is a link: http://diabloffroad.com/home.html
the guys name is Dave and he is on France til the 18th but responds to his emails from his site. he is the man to talk to about a lift or anything involving suspensions.
hoep this helps you out.

actually just tell Dave what you want your truck to look like and wat tires you want to fit under your truck and he will suggest the best options as far as best look and ride.
b/c he has a 2.5 DR leveling kit or a 4.5 DR lift

just ask him

Is that using the stock wheels or aftermarket wheels?

The negative offset will cause you to rub. You need the positive offset or 5 - 5 1/2 inch of bs.

So if I were to get a +14 offset with a 5 5/8" backspacing and put a 325/60/20 tire on the wheel I should have no issues with clearance?

I have 18" wheels but dia. should make no differance. With the aftermarket wheels I have and 35x12.5 BFG Mud t/a's there was a little bit of rubbing on the inner fender but I just pulled it back alittle. Wheels are Eagle Alloys 18x9 with 5in backspacing and a +2mm offset and i have a 2.5" leveling kit. With the same tires on my stock wheels there is no rubbing at all since they have a 6in backspacing
