Question about a noise.

I recently installed the superchips tuner in my truck with a 4" MBRP exhaust with no muffler or cat. When I floor it there is an odd chattering sound that seems to be coming for the top of the engine. Any clues on what could cause this? I'm wondering if it has something to do with the stock intake and standard filter, but the vacuum gauge on the airbox doesn't show any extra pull. Or is it something in the valvetrain? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely surge, Wicked Wheel, ATS housing, or a differant exhaust housing will help or stop it. It will get worse with a Hi flow intake. Could, and I say could be something with the EBPV... But that is unlikely.

I should mention a code was coming up for the waste gate failing a steady state test. I'm not sure if this was coming up before the chip or not.

Do you here the noise at around 1800 rpm or is it just when your flooring it you hear it the entire time?

It only makes the noise for a short time when I floor it but it does it mainly towards the top end of the RPM range ( around 2,400 to 3,000).
