Drivers rear tire 06

inside of the wheel is getting wet with oil, new caliper so that's not leaking. Would this be a inner or outer axle seal that is leaking? I have never had a rear end apart on this truck yet. 87K miles

Inner I think. I had the same problem, didn't have time to mess with it , so the dealer did it for $180. It also lubed up the e-brake shoes but I told them to just clean them off and it still works fine. The service writer just wrote it up as an axle seal.

can't you fix that with just taking off the wheel and brakes off?

I think there a floater so you could just slide the axle out and pull the hub off change the seal then put it all back together.
