pics of your wheels

Im in the market for some wheels but confused on the back spacing. i want to run 35x12.50 20r toyo open country m/t or a/t tires. i dont want the tires sticking out 5 inches on each side like a big roller skate. are 20x10 with a 4.5 back space with going to do that or should i go with a 20x8.5 with a 5 or 6 inch back space? please post pics of your truck with 20 inch wheels and what the back spacing is. thanks

I know these arent 20's but thought it might help on the backspacing issue. I'm running 18x9's with 4.5" backspacing and 35x13.50x18 Mickey Thompson ATZ's

I just got done putting some 18x9 moto metals on mine with 4.5" back spacing and -12mm offset. It all depends on how much offset there is that makes the wheel stick out far. I'm running mickey thompson's baja ATZ's(33x12.5x18) on these rims and love the combo. I'll post a pic in a little bit. If you go with aftermarket rims you want to make sure that you get ones that have at least factory back spacing, and i think the '05+ have over 5" of back spacing. So make sure you get a rim that has at least a 5" back spacing. It has to do with the larger brakes that came on the '05+ trucks.

i like how your wheel are. i can get centerlines for cheap but they are 20x10 with 4.5 back space so they should be close to yours? whats the back spacing on the stock alloy17 inch wheels with the smaller holes, like the alcoas?

I think back spacing from 99-04 is different than the 05-07's. The factory back spacing on my oem rims was 4.5" and i made sure that the aftermarket rims i got was the same. My moto metal rims also have 4.5" of back spacing just like my factory rims. Offset has to do with how far the rim will stick out. These rims have an offset of -12mm. I borrowed a set of rims and tires from a buddy of mine a few months ago who had 16x10 rims which had 4.5" of backspacing and an offset of -24mm and they stuck out just a little more than the combo i'm running now.

ok im stuck between these 2 wheels...so many freaken different sizes. it doesnt say what the offset is. just back spacing and that the 6 inch back space "will tuck up in the fenders" whatever that means, but i know i want 20inch.

Out of those two i like the wilderness 8-ball better. When they mean it's tucked under the fender, it means just that. It means that pretty much all of the rim is gonna be under the fender and it wont stick out any. I wouldn't go with 6" back spacing, that's way too much. Find out what the factory back spacing is suppose to be and make sure you get an aftermarket rim with the same.

well i guess the only way to do that is pull off a wheel and measure it. i tried searching for the stock 17 inch alloys and came up empty. or i could call them and see what they reccomend...but they might just try to sell me somthing i dont want...
