Excursion guys - lift question

I have a friend who wants to lift his x and put bigger tires on it. He's worried about how it will perform afterwords when it comes to how it rides and how it tows. I was hoping I could get some feedback from you all and if there's anything he should know be sure to add it. Thanks

The ex sucks to tow with unless its stock with stiffer springs. Although I do have to say that mine tows better now with the lift springs than it did stock. The ride in my opinion just depends on what lift you go with and what shocks. Mine rides a little rougher than stock but that is cause I went with fabtech duals up front and singles in the rear. I also used fabtech front springs and skyjacker rears in order to get approx. 8 inches of lift. I think if I were to do it over again I would have went with deavers and bilstein shocks.

depends on the rear icon springs, the larger the lift the stiffer the spring rate the smaller lift springs even form icon dont tow well.. the BDS do but they ride rougher.

Icon for sure. It will have a better ride, and will tow fine too.
