Moved and...

if you have the hub out, and the snap ring and washer from the axle shaft, abs line disconnected, and the 4 nuts off it should come out fairly simple, maybe needs a little tap of a hammer, you can use a puller yes but should not be in there that tight.

You don't need a puller, just a whole lot of loving from a BFH.

If you can damage it from a hammer, then it was needing replacement anyways. I'm thinking a nearly 8000lb truck puts a lot more force on that hub than a little hammer does...

Well what is it, a little hammer or a BFH cause i know a 20lb sledge will do more damage then normal use will like an egg, put equal pressure on it and it wont break, put more force on one area then another you will have a mess.

the salt in the winters up here make things really hold together well

sticky hub

well i went and got a puller. put it the hub and cranked on it a while, and it just did not seem to want to come off. I sprayed the one part that seemed what i think is the seam where makes contact with pb blaster and then i will try the puller again. That thing must really be rusted on there.
Thanks again for the help
Robert.
