Painting the vinyl around the cupholders

I figured that was all that they was good for.

I figured out how to get everything apart and I am working on adding the lights/switch and I am also recovering all of it with a Black cover to match my other seat covers. I am going to be painting the handle that opens it black and I am hoping to paint the vinyl that goes around the cupholders also. Anyone know what kind of paint would work best on this cushioned type vinyl???? Any help would be appreciated.

sorry, dood...take it to an upholstry shop. I've tried to replace the seat leathers on my 20 section...but realized that you need to cut off the original fabric to get to the center fold up section! what a gip...i went thru the ford CD too...nada!

I got it apart you dont have to cut anything at all. And i found out what I need to paint it. I will get a how to up when I am completely finished. I have to finish wiring some stuff tonight and probably have it all back together by end of week. I need to remove the back seat to run some wires underneath the floor and then everything will be done...
