Question Fog Lights

When I ordered my truck I never thought to order the Fog Lights. Bad move on my part. If I buy the factory Fog Lights and the Headlight Switch with Fog Light control will the Fog Lights plug into the existing harness and does the current harness have the provisions for the Headlight Switch with Fog Light Control? If this isn't the case I can always run the wiring, but hey plug 'n play is always the best. Chris

I would imagine that you could do that. I have the factory fogs on both my rigs, was never very impressed with them, even with PIAA bulbs installed. I think I am going to swap them out for some PIAA or Hella lights.

Not sure on your original questions but I bought the fogs to do like you said and havn't done it yet.

If you buy the fogs from Ford I would suggest the 05 and up ones because they dont have the cover over the bulb so they are brighter. Most the people I know upgraded to them from the earlier years.

Good to know on the newer style Fog Lights. I plan in running HID's in them. My buddy has them in his '06 Headlights and Fog Lights and they are great. I guess I will have to look around a little more. Chris

I added them to Chelseas X, wired them myself to a relay directly off the battery, then to a toggle in the cab. Hitting a key on switch. They are brighter this way then using the factory wiring.

From adding fogs to my truck, I don't believe the factory wiring has the fog light wiring... Just wire it up yourself. Besides, then they stay on when your brights are on.

Just because I kiss the prettiest girls and I drive my truck too fast, why does everybody want to kick my @ss?
