2009 F 350 Super Duty Tire Pressure Monitor

Hello

I just purchased a 2009 F350 Super Duty and installed a 6 inch Fabtech Radius arm lift kit.
I changed tires to 37 x12:50 X 18 BF Mud
They only come in 8 ply and max tire pressure is 60psi vs the 10 ply 80 psi the tires the truck came with.

Went to Ford dealer to have them recalibrate the air pressure montior and I was told that it can not be done.

Does any one know how to fix or am I stuck with this until someone writes a new program?

Thanks in advance

Far as I know all new trucks with tire sensors when you change tires there is nothing you can do about it. But I'm not 100% sure

Thanks Big Stroker
I have read a little further and am thinking about putting all 4 sensors in spare tire and air up to recommended pressure.
I read that on this form.
If anyone have any other ideas please advise.

Beanboy, did you get a warning light on your dash when you installed your aftermarket wheels? If so, how many miles did it take? I installed the Weld wheels and Nitto's I took off my 05, and I haven't got a Tire Pressure warning light at all. Hopefully it never comes on. If it matters, I took off the stock 20" wheels with less than 50 miles, so maybe the truck has to "Learn the sensors"?

Did the new rims have the tire pressure sensors in them...they should've?

Hi Guys

I still have the stock wheels that came with truck on it with the 37s
The Ford sensors are much different than that of the GM.
Gm seem to be in the valve stem and ford wrap around the whole inside of wheels.
I plan on installing all sensor into my 10 ply spare and running the recommended air pressure. (80lbs)
Will give the forum a few days to see if someone has better idea before I go ahead and swap out sensors.

If I do not hear any positive news I will post how all turns out.
