Dr/Icon-Bilstein shocks

I see a lot of folks talking bad about Bilstein shocks, and say a ton of great things about the Dr/Icon shocks. My question is isn't Bilstein the maker of the Dr/Icon shocks? If not then I must have been swindled. Here's some pics

On another note the ride with these bad boys is so much better than I had expected. I will never use any thing else.

as a dist of icon products, i can tell you i know that just recently icon made some changes as to who manufactures their shocks, icon formerly had edelbrock making their shocks and now are using bilstein HOWEVER, bilstein and edelbrock are both making icons shocks to Icons specifications Not theirs so they in turn are going to be different from the bilstein shocks

I've NEVER heard anybody say anything bad about Bilstein shocks. I have installed them on just about everything I've owned over the years, and I can't say a single bad thing about them.

I have Read from other's post on here that they have issues with them blowing out in a years time, the cylinders rusting up, and bushings wearing out. That why I asked the question. At least you have some thing positive to say about them

I dont know but the thread was intended to find out if bilstein was now making DR/Icon shocks, and why people choose Dr/Icon instead of bilstein
