03 f-350 06 bumper plow frame problems

any one run into problems upgrading there front end with a plow frame there? the plow frame doesnt go low enough to clear the new bumper so i had to take it off. what do i need to do to make this work get a plow frame for a 2006 superduty?

got a fisher minute mount i know on the 05-07 the plow frame is different it drops alot more just dont know if it will fit must be the same frame just different suspension up front

This is true as I have the same problem with my Western Ultra Mount. An 05-07 frame will not bolt onto our trucks atleast not Western, the frames are different. Now for my ultra mount, I was able to open up the bumper bolt holes on the brackets with a plasma cutter (looks stock) and slide the bumper up and it works, it is close but it works. Now I also picked up a spare bumper off of a wrecked 05 XL and I notched the bottom of it.

03 F-250 6.0, FX4, 6 inch Fabtech lift, 18 inch Centerline's, 35x12.5 toyo M/Ts, 05 front end conversion with Harley headlights, Cowl hood with silver stripes, upfitter switches, Bilstein shocks, 08 taillights, 08 tailgate, 08 trailer tow mirrors, Recon smoked cab, mirror and third brake light, tinted windows, MBRP SS turboback, no cat, Autometer Cobalts on the pillar... Line-X, weatherguard toolbox..
Western 8" Pro Plus ultra mount, Boss 1100 Smart Hitch salt spreader

how far could you move it up because i cant go to far about a half inch not even before it hit the bottom of the headlight and grille. but the exta bumper is a good idea but having to take the plow frame off and on sucks

on my western i had to cut some plastic. wasn't really part of the bumper it self tho. something that is bolted to it.

I can only move mine about a half inch as well... And it just barely clears. Even if you found a painted bumper and swapped it in the winter, that is what I do..Here are a few pics..
Truck in the summer months.. Notice you can't even see the plow frame, granted the receivers are off of it but you get the idea

thanks guys but for mine to work i would have to cut right through the chrome at the bottom of the bumper the painted bumper swap idea is good just hard to get your hands on these bumpers i took me a couple of moths to find mine
