35's fitting stock?

Hey I browsed thru a few pages and didnt see anyone with this question but im sure someone has probably asked it. I have a 2004 f-350 supercab 4x4. All stock, I want to put 315-75-16 under this rig and wanted to know if leveling it is a must? I dont mind pullin the mud flaps back with a zip tie or minor trimming, I just dont want to waste an extra $500 on a leveling kits when I could run 305's easy no problem.

I am at a bit of a dilemna I just cant see $500 to level it when I probably wont notice a difference. Would I be throwing my money away leveling it or not? Give me the good, bad and ugly of the situation. Thanks guys

35's run me 900 installed + 500 for leveling kit is 1400 total.
or just 35's for 900 and im pretty broke so thatd be nice if they fit.
or slap smaller 33's on it for 875 (may as well spend 25 bucks more ya know?)

Please if you have some pics (leveled or unleveled) post em up for me. I am interested in seein how you guys did the trimming too or if you hae a few instructions, I just wanna keep the rig clean looking since Im still paying for it... lol

I can't find any pics of my truck right now before/after the leveling kit. BUT you will need a leveling kit for 35s. Even with a leveling kit I had to trim my bumper and pull back the inner fenders.. 05+ this isn't the case but w/ leaf springs it is. Even w/ a leveling kit you will still rub sometimes.. I would go w/ the 33s

I also moved this down to general since this applies to 99-04 trucks...

ok cool thank you! Do you think a levelin kit is worth the 500-600 bucks? I go offroad on a hunting lease every now and then but im not out boggin too much with the f350 so I dont think clearance is really a issue more just cosmetics. I think the 33's may be a better fit but you guys are the experts and you say it how it is no BS. Alright mayb im just lookin for a reason to justify puttin a leveling kit on my truck... lol if I had one I'd probably put it on just for the sake of saying it helps me out in some way or another.

I'm running 315/75/16 bfg muds currently and they rub the back of the driver spring and fron of the pass spring at hard turns. They also rub the plastic on the back of the inner fender well. I don't have a leveling kit yet and it is livable. You will loose a little in turning left but for me that and the little bit of rubbing while turning is acceptable. Even with a leveling kit though I'd rub the springs though

you can fit them but yes they will rub and yes it will get annoying not being able to turn full lock when needed. if you dont plan on leveling it i would stick with 33's.

I would probably just stick w/ a good set of 33s.... unless you just want the level look.

I hated the 35s while I was at stock height. After the 3in kit I installed it was much better. I stepped down to 33's now and feel much better and I think it looks better

both to tell you the truth. Trying to park was bad at times too people would look at me with a confused look of why my truck made this kind of farting sound when I turned to hard.
