Anyone got an estimate of what it would cost to repaint a cclb super duty.

for a half-azzed Earl Scheib job it'll be $2K or so and up A LOT from there for a complete color change.

Definitely wouldn't want a chitty job done. I would like to keep the same paint color just with a clear coat added on top. I got the boring green color they had for 03 and its getting pretty old when i see all these nice trucks shining and mines dull even when its waxed. So would around 5k be closer for a good paint job?
Thanks

I'd figure $3-4K assuming no body damage. Maybe more. I don't know how much paint costs these days. Depends on how fast you want it done also. Some shops might make you a cash on the side deal, ya know?

Have you tried having it Professionally detailed? I am going to almost guarantee that a good buff job would bring your paint back to just as good as new. Fly me out to New Jooseey and I'll get it done for you.

I'm thinking you can get a good re-paint of the same color for around 3k.

2008 Red CCSB 6.4 Auto Lariat.
Stock 20's wrapped in 35x12.50R20 Toyo MT's, 3.73 gears, Nav, Backup Cam, Tailgate step, Upfitters, etc.
Mods: AFE Intake, Line-X, 20% Tint, Clear Bra, Husky Mats, Smoked Recon Mirror markers/3rd brake light, Bushwacker Pocket style flares w/ mud flaps + an aluminum Rapid Hitch (one of the best investments!)
Feel free to PM with any questions about any of my mods.

Have not had it detailed in a while but the color was never shiny at all. It has a little bit of shine but nothing like my friends trucks when they are clean.
Thanks

Where do you live? You need to have a detail shop polish the truck, not just wash and wax it.

I think the problem is their is hardly any clear on trucks anymore. I had my 1998 12V dually repainted, it was amazing! The invoice was for around $6K IIRC, but it was warranty work, so I had not out of pocket expense. The Dodge dealer wanted to paint it in house, but the regional rep had it sent out.

I still see the truck here in Vero Beach now and again, the paint still looks fresh and new 10+ years later.
