Angry RECON Light Problems!

Has anyone else experienced problems with their RECON LED lights?

My 3rd brake light is malfunctioning, and it's driving me crazy. My wife bought this for me for my birthday, and now the cargo lights flash like crazy, and 2 of them are totally out.

I emailed Recon Customer service last week, with a description of my problem and a picture attached. They said they would look up my order, but haven't gotten back to me yet. I emailed back, with still no reply.

I'm frustrated to say the least. These aren't cheap LED's.

I have their interior LED's, and was about to order a set of smoked clearance lights for my brothers Dodge -- Not now

Anyone have any pull with these guys??

Hey, I had the same exact problem with the my lights recently. I'm starting to think they are prone to fail in about 1 yrs time now.

I called and sent them a pic and they mailed me a new one. They were actually really cool about it since I didn't even have the original purchase receipt and it was already out of warranty. I forgot the guys name that I went through but he was really cool about it. I was quite suprised. I'll look for the email and send it to you if I find out with the reps name. Hopefully he'll hook you up.

For all others, be careful with Recon brake lights.

Their quality has supposedly came way up after last summer.

2008 Red CCSB 6.4 Auto Lariat.
Stock 20's wrapped in 35x12.50R20 Toyo MT's, 3.73 gears, Nav, Backup Cam, Tailgate step, Upfitters, etc.
Mods: AFE Intake, Line-X, 20% Tint, Clear Bra, Husky Mats, Smoked Recon Mirror markers/3rd brake light, Bushwacker Pocket style flares w/ mud flaps + an aluminum Rapid Hitch (one of the best investments!)
Feel free to PM with any questions about any of my mods.

Same problem. I have the Recon taillights, mirror turn, and cargo light, with exception of the cargo light I am pleased and no problems; however, the cargo light is a different story. Same issue and I'm on my second one and it just started doing the same thing, flashing on the driver side. Guess this means another call to Recon

2004 Ford F-250 4x4 6.0. Sittings 4 inchs higher thanks to DBS lift kit w/ dual shoacks at all four wheels. Pro-Comp ladder bars keep the rear axle in place. 315 BFGs AT move her down the road. Front protected by Buckstop classic bumper and houses the Warn 16.5 winch, several PIAA lights help chase away the dark. Banks Six-Gun big boss bundle helps the motor and controlled from the PBA in cab. The 6.0 breathes though an Air-Rad intake system that gets cool fresh air from a Suncoast functional Ram-Air hood. ATS deep trans pan keeps the fluid cool and soon front and rear ATS covers will do the same. Music supplied by Clarion and Sirius. Several upgrades down and on the way. LOVE my truck.

My truck (WA state) has had recons installed for almost a year and no problems, even with all the rain we get.

Well, I'm striking out with these guys. I have called and left a message for customer service yesterday, with no return call as of today. Guess there are alot of folks trying to return these crappy lights...
