A good rule of thumb to remember is the higher the k the harder it will be to see at night. Natural sun light is 4300k that is what BMW,Binz ect use with there kits. 8k looks blue, 10k purpleish blue, 12k purple ect it will look good on the truck but trying to see at night in some areas that are not completely dark or in rain you will feel like you are driving with the lights off. here is a ebay store that I have used a ton of times with no issues http://cgi.ebay.com/HID-kit-H10-HB5-...item4cea02fbc3. His kits are top notch. If you have issues he is goo to his word send it back and he will fix it.

I went with these guys. Nice kit and small ballasts. I did both headlights and driving lights. I piss alot of people off being the lights are too bright, but most of the time I just drive with driving lights only.

it depends how much you want to spend. On my truck where cost isnt a issue I run mccullochs....not cheap by no means but the best and you can tell.I run them on both fogs and headlights

on my trailblazer ss I run the cheaper ones from hidworld.com. I run these on both fogs and headlights/ they are pretty good and run them on several friends trucks too

I run 8k on all

I wanted a High Intensity Discharge kit for my 1986 FORD F350 which is a very cool light and better visibility especially during night driving. I opted to go with the single beam HID kit too and love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty so I got it here Sealed Beam Headlight Kits , or you can try one of the vendors. Also some of the forum sponsors usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great system, and very easy to install.

Agreed with Darin. I have Flashtech 6ks and really enjoy them, Nice white color with no blue. I would never run anything above a 8k or so. Much too ricer IMHO.
