6.0 starts then stalls, any ideas?.

-5 celcius/ 23 degrees , I have to glow 4 or 5 times before it will run.
It always starts but won't stay running.

15w40 amsoil
new glow plugs,
new injectors.

haven't replaced the gp relay yet but it seems to be functioning properly, I've read a number of articles on how to test it and it seems fine.

This is not going to be fun when it drops down to -35 celcius/ -31 degrees.

any advice/help is mucho appreciatted.

Have you checked to see if your EGR Valve is clogged.

Probably should post this in the 2003-2007 6.0 forum, moderator can move it, may get more replies that way. But as a guess, start with the basic's. Check for codes first. Check fuel supply and repl fuel filters if needed. Check all fuses and relays. There are many reasons that could cause your symptoms, possibilities are the FICM has failed / the high pressure oil fitting has popped off-dependant on year of truck / wire chaffing issue, and the list can go on. If the injectors you say are new and recent, then its possible they weren't installed correctly with new orings and copper seals, that will cause your symptom also. Best thing is to post this in the 6.0 section and list your year/model truck, what mods if any are done and most importantly, when did these symptoms begin. You can also try plugging in your block heater and see if that helps, but regardless, 23F is not that cold and your truck should fire right up and stay running. Harry
