Front to back. Cross the front tires going back unless they are directional. Obviously you can also call a local tire shop and I'm sure they can tell you.

I think opinions will vary on this as there are many wives tales out there when it comes to rotations. I look at the tires to see what the wear pattern looks like. If ball joints and alignment are good, and you dont have a big difference in tread depth front to rear I will cross rotate front to rear. It allows the tires to spin opposite of what they just were doing. If you look really close at the front edge of your tread blocks you will see that they are slightly rounded verses the squared off rear portion of the tread block, I belive this helps traction on ice and snow when you have that sharp angle going forward.

Another option is to rotate front to rear but keep the tires on the same sides or you can switch side to side on the same axle to spin the opposite direction. I use the side to side rotate when the tires are about wore out keeping the best tires on the front. I have never rotated the spare into the mix because i've never had 5 matching wheels Oh and BTW, every 5,000 miles on rotates prolongs tire life.

What the tire shop told me was rear tires come straight forward, front tires change sides and go back, I don't have a spare
