i would bet not. that would only be under the 3yr, 30K mile warranty. not the 5yr100K. And even then who is to prove the windows were never rolled down with even just dust on them. Its just going to happen over time. Dirt rubbing on glass will scratch.

Body - Front Door Window Scratched
TSB 07-10-5

FRONT DOOR SIDE GLASS SCRATCHED DUE TO
COLLECTION OF DIRT/DEBRIS IN WARPED OUTER
WINDOW MOLDING
FORD:
2003-2007 Expedition
2005 Excursion
2005-2008 F-Super Duty
LINCOLN:
2007 Navigator
This article supersedes TSB 06-18-2 to update the vehicle model years, vehicle application and parts information.
ISSUE
Some 2005-2008 F-Super Duty, 2005 Excursion, 2003-2007 Expedition and 2007 Navigator vehicles may exhibit outer window molding weather strip
assembly warping around the lower front window channel. The condition may be described as a warped or loose outer window molding. There may be
a pucker or gap between the window beltline molding weather strip assembly and the window glass. This may result in dirt and debris collecting
between the molding and the glass, and therefore scratching the side-window glass.
ACTION
Use the Service Procedure to replace the outer window molding and adjust the molding flange.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Lower the side door window completely.
2. Remove the outside mirror.
3. Remove the outer window molding weather strip assembly by lifting it up away from the flange (Figure 1).
4. Raise the side door glass completely.
5. Measure the distance from inboard sur[ace of the door molding flange to outboard surface of the window glass (Figure 2). Distance from flange
to glass should be between 5/8-3/4" (16-19 mm) for F-Super Duty and Excursion, and 3/16-7/16" (5-11 mm) for Expedition and Navigator.
6. Lower glass completely.
7. Adjust the door molding flange to meet the 5/8-3/4" (16-19 mm) dimension. Do not adjust flange more than 3/4" (19 mm) away from the glass.
8. Install a new lower window molding weather strip assembly.
9. Reinstall mirror.
10. If the side door glass has been scratched, replace the glass. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-11.

Ya I can never keep track of warranties. Worked for a few difrent dealrrs and can never keep em strait. Hehe. But that is the whole point of the felt rub strip. If that strip failes then that's when the windows get scratched. Most people do not think anything of it and have the same opinion as you that the windows will get scratched over time. So people never ask the dealers. I have worked for both vw and gm and have always replaced windows that were scratched along with new felts. When working at the dealers I would also bring it up to customers that it was covered under warranty and get them replaced without them even asking about it. I always beleved in 100 percent customer satisfaction so in my down time at work I would always read the tsb's and warranty info so I could always get my customers things they would never have thought were covered undrr a warranty. That's why allot of my customers left the last dealer I was at when I quit as they had never seen such good customer care before. So yes this is long winded but ya they should be covered if you have any warrante left on your veh. When in doubt ask th dealer. If you don't like your answer call a few other dealers their will be one out their like with my beleifs

gezzz almost had the responce at the same time. I think its a common problem for any veh... its easer for the car companies to just fix it instead of arguing with the few customers that ask for the repair
