Traction bars

I'm looking to add a set of traction bars to my truck. I checked out farmboy fabrication and his bolt directly to the frame. I just looked up Rize and they have a full floating traction bars. Which is the better of the two? I have an 05' 250 with 35x13 Nitto's. What all are you guys using?

A floating design prevents suspension binding and allows full articulation . A solid mount locks the diff in position front to back, so as the spring attempts to compress or get longer, it will bind up. Most who use a solid mount are off road types with little to no towing requirements.
If you tow a lot or plan to, you need the floating design. The floating option also works for competition events and has no negative impact on ride quality.

Vendors should clarify product application to prevent harsh ride and or broken parts.

There's a lot of people running either the Rize bars or Farmboy's. If I didn't have a Rize lift on my truck, I'd be running Farmboy's (wanted the bars to match the 4-link). Jesse's are much less expensive and VERY well designed.

not many tools needed. main thing being a welder. other than that a drill, grinder, and some sort of saw will be about the majority of it.
