Help Toyo AT vs Cooper ST

Looking to get a set of all-terrain tires, but can not decide what to get. It is going on a 06 F250 FX4 6.0l. Tire size 275/65/20. Can anyone tell me which one is better Toyo A/T or Cooper S/T. What kind of mileage could I expect to get out of ether of these tires?

I have the Toyo A/T's on my 06 F-350. 28k miles on them so far. My guess is that they are about 1/2 tread. Good performance on and off road in my opinion but I've never had the Cooper S/T to compare.

The toyos are a bit less agressive than the ST's. I have seen alot of the toyos seperate. Those coopers did have a recall on them in mid 05, but has been long since taken care of. coopers should last you aout 45-50k if you keep them rotated and dont run the snot out of them.

I just bought a set of Goodyear Wrangler Dura Tracs today and the are nice tires harder tire then the a/ts, but like I said just got them. They are rated with very high marks??
I have friends that have both tires and both like them, I heard a rumor a few months back that Toyos had a dry rot problem but I have no evidence to prove or not prove just hear say from the dealer a friend works at. Here's a link to do some checking hope it helps. or tire rack also has a review section they don't have toyos though.

I've had the Toyo A/Ts, good performance bad mileage. Just bought the Michelin A/T2 and so far the performance is great. Very quite, good fuel mileage out of them, but don't know how long they will last.

Go with michelin AT/2's their awsome. In my opinion they make the best tires out if you rotate em theyll last forever i had a set on my excursion for 75k.

I have worked for a toyo dealer, and currently a goodyear-michelin dealer. The At2's are a great tire.. the dura tracs are nice as well, a bit agressive over the cooper and the toyo at. I would expect the rura trac will only last between 40 to 45k based off the tread ware rating. But they havent been out long enough to get that type of milage feed back from our customers yet.

I run the Cooper ST with studs as a winter tire on one of our trucks. 6 winters now, still has over half of the tread left, excellent all around traction. Harry
