Installing a double din into an 03

Does anybody have a write up or something on how to make a double din fit into a 2003 truck?

SCT tuned by Innovative, 225cc Swamps injectors, S363 Fleece Performance turbo with a billet wheel, Dieselsite billet high volume HPOP, Snow Stage 2 water/meth, ARP Headstuds, RCD EGR delete, Liberator O-ringed heads, Black onyx headgaskets, ITP regulated return, SouthBend 3600 Dual Disc clutch, Airdog 100, CFM intake manifold, Dfuser coolant filter kit, 4" exhaust into 7" stack, AEM intake, Autometer Ultralite boost, pyro, fuel pressure, and air pressure gauge for my Hornblasters.com train horn kit,
Superlift leveling kit w/ 2" lift blocks in the back, 20x10 XD Diesels, 35x13.50x20 Cooper STTs
Kenwood DVD player, 1000 watt Sony Xplod amp with a 12" Bazooka tube and 10" MTX sub

Theres a lip on top and bottom you have to trim off.

2003 Ford F350 DRW CC LB, H11 studs, 190cc injectors from II,Stage 1 VGT from II, EGR delete, Spearco, Reg Return from dfuser, Magnaflow turboback 4 inch stainless, SCT XCAL3 Tuned by ID, FASS 150/180, 6inch lift, 100 gallon transfer tank, and a bunch of other nic nacs and do dads! DUALLY CLUB MEMBER #74

Trim the 1/8" lip off the radio opening in the dash, and don't use a fit kit or the cage that the radio goes into.

But couldn't I also just snap in a dash clip(just the part that goes around the gauge cluster, radio, and hvac controls) from an 05 into my dashboard?

Won't work. Radio and HVAC controls are 1/4" off on the newer trucks.

my cousin put a double din in his 04 he is actually on this site his name is T-mac he had to do some trimming on the dash opening it looks really good though
