Freezing!

Okay guys its too cold to feed my cattle every morning with the passenger side window stuck down!!!!!! Its been acting up for a few weeks, sometimes wouldnt come up on first try, but would later, but yesterday put it down and that was it! Wont come up with either switch. Figured it was the motor and got a new one, hooked it up before putting back in and nothing! Guy from NAPA tells me if the drivers side switch is out then neither will work. Is this correct? What can I do to figure this out! Its a 2001 F250.

But which one? Neither will work. Is it true that if the drivers side switch is bad the passengers won't work either?

Um, pull the stinkin' inside door cover off and put that freakin' window up!!!

Zaairman has good info. I'd vote for the switch as well.

Unplug the window motor and with a jumper to the motor run it up. With a wiring diagram you can use a short jumper on the drivers side switch.

Or change the drivers side switch - it is less than a trip to the dealer.

The jumper wire to the connector at the top of the door is simple - I cut a short extension cord and put battery clips on one part and use another extension cord to get power from the nearest avail, what I am working on or my pickup.
