Fixing gouges/scratches on dash material

I've got a 2006 F250 XLT with some deep scratches (along with some minor ones) on the dash front.

Any idea if this is something that can be repaired? Sanding? Does this change the color of the dash?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

got any pics? I have a feeling if you do decide to sand it, it wont look right. Since it does have a texture to it, unless its a very light grit sand paper. Just my opinion

3m makes a headlight kit, with very fine sand paper disks, and lastly a buffing compound.

I've used it on two sets of head lights and they are always crystal clear in the end. Might be something to look into.

You mean the interior dashboard cover, right? JC Witney among lots of others makes glue on covers for the dash. I need two of them right now for my two fords.
