Lifiting a 04 f350

My truck is in need of new tires, so I will be entertaining the idea of some 35x12.50. I understand that I will need to lift the truck in order to do this which is fine. Blocks in the rear end but how to get the front end up on the cheap. I was thinking maybe a shackle life of something along those lines. What would be the easiest and cheapest way to lift the front say 4 or so? And at what point am I going to have to worry about drive shafts and all that good stuff.

You're going to need aftermarket wheels for those tires. Should be good with a 2" leveling kit up front. Everything else is good.

so what if i was to do a 2" front hanger drop, a 2" shackle lift as well as a 2" spring pack level lift. Would this work. any major problem with doing it this way. How high can i lift the truck before i need to worrk about longer drive shafts and vibe's and other drivability issues?

i just have 2.5" spring pack level kit and i run 33"x13.5"wide tires on stock 18rims and just barely have rub at full lock, if your running 35x12.5 you should be just find with leveling kit, thats if your back sits higher than front stock, if not just throw a block in the back also and with all this kiss your turn radious good by

That would be equal to a 4" lift, at which point you will need drop tracbar bracket, drop pitman arm, and possibly an adjustable tracbar. Front driveshafts don't become an issue until over 8" lift.

If you plan on keeping the truck for a while, do it right the first time. Consider a 4" Icon Spring lift kit. Will ride way better than using stock springs and shocks. Not the cheapest way to go in the short term, but in the long term will be cheaper when you need to replace the leafs and shocks anyhow.

a front leveling kit is all you need on an f-350 to fit 35's,on my f-250 i have a rough country front leveling kit, and 5" readylift blocks in the back, my truck has always sat higher in the front then back, thats way i went with the 5" block vs a stock f-350 block. and i am running 315/75/16 tires on stock rims, no problems yet, and as you can see with the plow on(i dont plow like that just had to move it in the summer) no rubbing problems, and the pics with the plow was still stock f-250 blocks
