Has anyone figured out how to use the Aux button on their Factory stereo?

Both my Mach1 and the F350 I got both have factory radio in them. I cannot afford to buy a new head unit right now, so I would like to use the Aux input if thats possible.

The AUX button is for a rear DVD which you dont have,or Satellite radio option. There is also an interface that can be used for IPOD's and such.

What are you trying to do? There are probably cheaper easier methods of adding components than trying to go through the AUX button.

For all the trouble and cost bumping up to an AM head unit will give you more sound and upgrades in the long run. An adapter that hooks to the OEM unit allowing use of RCA inputs will run $80+. I'm going to either an Alpine or Kenwood single-DIN head unit at some point.

Wasn't sure about the cost, but Im trying to avoid getting a head unit right now. Since, Im now considering r and r the head gaskets. I already got a new oil cooler and the EGR delete, and that cost plenty! Ive been using a FM transmitter that works...ok... May have to deal with it for a while. Thanks.

P.I.E. makes interface adapters that plug into the rear of your factory stereo to let you use the AUX button.
