Beep-------Beep

I drive a 2004.5 Excursion EB. The horn is hanging or getting stuck when you try to use it. Not every time but it's becoming more frequent. So far I have been able to get it stopped by (doing the first thing I learned in mechanical and electrical applications) beating the heck out of it. I am sure it is going to stick and not quit at some inopportune time. Has anyone else had this problem and what is the procedure for repair. I'm not looking forward to working around the airbag. Thanks in advance

admittedly i dont know if the SD has TWO horns ore one...

when the horn "sticks" is it a single tone or duel <could be a sign of
just ONE horn sticking>.

if BOTH tones/horns are sticking then id replace the horn RELAY

there are two horns, located between the fender and the inner fender on the passenger side.id lean towards the relay being the issue,or possibly the contacts of the horn switch behind the air bag.
