Cab Steps

Anyone know of a manufacturer that makes Cab Steps that bolt to the frame? I want some steps, but much of what I find bolt to the body. I am a bigger guy and want the steps to be solidly mounted to the frame. In the past I have had the body mount styles and after time I can feel them flexing. Thanks in advance, Chris

Good luck finding them for a regular cab. I just found a set for my dad's regular cab F550. They're factory nerfbars. Cost $209 shipped off of ebay. I think the factory boards go to the frame don't they? We're pretty good size folks ourselves and haven't had any problems.

Whenever I hear nerf I think little football. Then I think little football with a long arrow tail that whistles in the air.

No, they bolt up to the body, not the frame. You are right though, they are pretty stout.

I think Extreme 4X4 did a show a few weeks back that had a set of electric retractable step bars that bolted to the frame and were wired to the door so when you open the door them swung out and then back in when the door was closed. The show is on TNT and I think it was a Dodge build up show so maybe you could go to the site and do a search for the step bars. Not sure what the capicaty was on them but they looked real stout to me.
