Getting an Air intake

Looks like a rat got into my truflo stock replacement filter and tore a hole the size of a baseball in it while I have been at college this year. Kinda scary considering I have been driving it to and from work every day for the past month. Not sure what damage has been done but truck is smokeing excessively. White smoke even at an Idle. Truck still idles well and runs fine. And there appears to be no fluid loss. But I have decided to get an intake and I am wanting an AFE Stage 2 with PG-7. Is this a good choice? Should I get the SI or XP? and Where can I find the best deal?

It is a good choice, but it's expensive. I'm not familiar with the difference in "SI" or "XP" and I would post up in the vendor section to find the best deal new.

There are other choices and the vendors can lead you down the right path. Do your homework and don't just jump at the first best price. Ask some more questions.

But first, get the turbo check out. Sounds like you could have lost your turbo.

I have the S&B cold air on mine. I personnally like it better. It's fully sealed.
