Exclamation Measuring to find center of roof for Cab Light Install 2008-2010

Hey guys, I have been pouring all over the net for help with my install of Recon Cab lights on my 08 CC F-250. I only have one problem. I can't find a reliable way to find the center of the roof to get a reference point to do the other lights. I have seen many ways to do it but I just can't get it right. I had completed laying it all out but the outer lights are off by 1/2 to the sides and 1/2 inch up. I based their placement by right angles based on my centerline. The roof is irregular so any pointers would help me and countless others I am sure.

Can you tape down some paper, trim to fit then remove it. That might make it easier to measure when it's not on the truck. Make sure you leave marks on the roof or windshield so you can put it back down in the same spot.

You may have already installed them, but if you haven't, I know I've seen a template on-line that you can download and print and then tape to the roof.
