96 F-350 info

iNFO WANTED--how much of a JOB is it? to remove & re-Install new front fenders--& what Panit? do you guys suggest? in painting the inner fender--before installation--Thanks in Advance--Ole JIM--

Takes some time...

1 bolt under the carpet on the floor of the cab, per side. Around the brake pedal area, pull the carpet or mat up and you'll see the plug in the floor.
2 bolts at the base of the hood, per side.
2 or 4 bolts on the core support, per side.

I think I got them all...

Gotta remove the whole front end, lights, grille, header panel, which is an easy job.
Gotta take off the bumper filler also, the bumper should come off too to make the job easier, but isnt needed.
Gotta take all the stuff off the inner fenders, and tie them up somewhere, including batteries and trays etc.
Then remove the inner fenders.

The Core support can stay.

The job isnt exactly hard, just need the time to do it.

Here are some pictures with the inner fender removed.





As far as Paint, for the inner fenders? Sand them, prep them, paint with a plastics or vinyl paint, like dupli-color interior paint. Or prep them, and get plastic primer, and paint with auto paint.
