Door seal mod

Can't find the door seal mod thread. What size tubing was used?

'03 F350 4X4 Supercab, handshaker. 2" lift running 315/75/16 Hankook MTRT03. Zoodad mod, CCV reroute, EGR mod, Brite Box, SCT X3 tuned by DJs Performance, 4" exhaust, on my third turbo. 05' Excursion, stock for now.A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

I used the solid foam but think the tubing is a better choice. The foam can break while you are trying to snake it through and after a time it becomes "smashed" flat. I'm not convinced that it is working quite as good as it did when I first put it in but it still works. Sometimes I think I can here more noise than I did 6 months ago. Might just be me. I did it over a year ago.

Is there a post that describes the door seal mod? I need to replace the seals on my '02 7.3.

It must have been lost in the hack..

its just 3/8" Vinyl Tubing. pull the door seals off, fish something threw the seals(small fish tape will work), then if you drill a small hole in the end of the tube you can tied a small string to the hose and to what ever you fished threw your seal, lube the vinyl with soap or a white lithium grease and pull it threw.. repeat for all others..

I have...nearly 60 feet of it in my crewcab....it made a BIGGER DIFFERENCE
in blocking wind noise than COATING MY ENTIRE TRUCK w/ HUSH MAT (aka dyna mat).

the wind noise is particularly loud at the drivers A-Pillar...and tightening up
the door seal/weather strip w/ poly tube eliminates the wind noise !
