Inner Tire Wear

My BFGs are starting to wear on the inner part of the tire. My tire guy tells me that the toe might be out. Had it aligned at the beginning of the year down at Truck Toyz. Probably has between 5-6,000 miles since the alignment. I balance and rotate every 3500 miles. The pattern is on all 4 tires but looks worse on the front. Tires have about 15,000 miles total and are my second pair. The first set never wore like this. Don't really know that much about tire wear; never had to deal with it on any other trucks. Any ideas?

If its wearing faster on inside of the tire wouldn't the suspension be toed in? As Bill has said it could be a bad ball joint how many miles is on your rig? Also have you hit any pot holes or anything hard that could have knocked the alignment off?

No potholes that I can remember. 90% of my driving is highway.

The truck has 68,700 miles on it.

I guess I'll have the alignment and the ball joints checked and go from there. Might be time for some dynatracs.

Does ball joint replacement require the front end to be realigned?

yes. Any time you R&R suspension pieces. I would get one done.

Lets just say not quite stock.
