I bought a new corn pro trailer last yr and the guy told me that same thing when we ordered it. I have had no problems with it and 08-10 superdutys, but dont know about the 05-07s. I would try it first.

The 05 models were hit and miss, I had an 06 F-550 and TBC worked fine with both of my trailers that have Dexter Electric/hyd drakes.
If the TBC does not work then I would also suggest the MaxBrake controller they are very smooth.
