08,6.4l,which lift to go with for $5000??

i am putting a new lift on my truck, but having a little trouble deciding on which one to go with. what i have now is a fabtech 6'' basic system with bilstein shocks, stock leafs with lift blocks, fabtech traction bars on 37's. overall it rides pretty good, but the rear suspension could b smoother.
i don't pull heavy loads, but do pack around a couple sleds on a deck. almost pulled the trigger on the carli 4.5'' 2.5 coilover system, but didn't. not sure if i would like the looks of only 4.5'' of lift.
looking for suggestions, what does $5000ish get ya.

thanks, Rob

Carli and Icon both being in that same price range, depending on the options, I'd prob. choose Carli. Icon has pretty good stuff. But I think Carli has way more R&D in their products. I think everyone that has one will agree, the ride is unmatched because of the shock tuning. And this kit's more like a 5" anyways. So the 37s are fine with the correct wheels. But if you'r all about the looks, I plead the 5th. I always look at function, before I look at what the guy down the street's gona think is cool about my truck. And if you'r that worried about a 4-link, just add one on, as I did. CARLI all the way. Just my opinion though... Good luck with your project.

Sage is taking the whole Ford market very seriously just like he has the Dodge mraket for the last few years. He picked up their new 2011 CCSB on Monday afternoon. They installed one of their Performance 2.0 kits on Tuesday at the shop and then spent Wednesday and Thursday out in the desert doing some shock tuning with the guys from Bilstein. Here is a pic of the truck getting dirty already. Hopefully I will have soem action shots real soon.

Could care less what the guy down the street thinks. I personally like the looks of a 6" system.the reason for changing my lift is for better performance/ride. Everything that I have heard/read obout the carli systems have been A+.

Thanks

I am not sure if I can embed this YouTube video but I'll give it a try. This truck still has stock rear leafs and is running some prototype Bilstein 5160's which are pretty basic shocks comapred to some of their other offerings.

Made up my mind, Ordering my carli coilover system tomorrow. In doing some Internet surfing and talking to dealers, I didn't get any negative feedback at all. Everyone says it's the smoothest lift out there, and that's what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the vid, suspension looks to work pretty well. And like u said, that's with pretty basic shocks.

Cheers

I ended up ordering it from nadp up here in Edmonton Alberta, which is pretty close to me. Also they took care of all the shipping and fees.
Thanks again folks for all the info
