Headlights brights issues do you have them?

Has anyone had the issue when leaving the brights on for say 30 mins and then kicking down to fogs and slowing down to almost stop for say 30 secs and then trying to turn back on all lights only to find out that the bright switch is in the correct position but the idiot light and the actual brights are not on. I have had this happen to me twice now.

I go through a security gate for work and just turn my switch from full on to just fogs and when i turned it back on my brights were not working. the only way i could get it to come back on was to turn the brights switch off and turn my headlights off and on a few times. After a bit of messing with it the brights came back on. The time before this when it happened, restarting my truck caused the issue to go away. I am guessing it should not be a heat related issue since it was about 4 degrees out when it happened this last time.

Any thoughts?

My system is toatly bone stock, no aftermarket headlights.

I would guess there's a bad contact or other problem with your dimmer switch.
