Do I need a stock rear sway bar?

I put a 8" lift on my truck And the stock rear sway bay looks funny. I looked at some trucks and most of the don't have it? Any advise if I need or take it off?

That was one of the first things i took off my first two trucks so I'd have better articulation off road. As a matter of fact, still have them- anyone in NM need one??

I don't have one on my '10, and I didn't have one on my '08. I don't see why you'd need one, just take that sucker off. If it rides crazy, put it back on.

I believe they only came with the camper package. Maybe the towing package too, Its not a very strong sway bar. Willing to bet you wont even notice it gone. I have broke a few front sway bar links on my 04. Sometimes thats even hard to tell under normal driving.
