Time for a Ladder

I think my floggin on the 275 for 50,000 kms has resulted in a tiny bit of axel wrap. The Shop just called and I need 3 new leafs, 2 retainer bolts and 4 shackles. This is not Spartan's fault but my own for mashing the pedal and not keeping an eye on the clunks I hear from the back.

So with $ 600.00 later from the suspension shop I think it is time for a set of ladders. Can you guys make suggestions as to type and price and also rember I am in Toronto Canada so shipping from TX (for example) is not an option!

I have a 6" Fabtech 4 Link System and 35's on 20's

Perhaps I have used the wrong term. The "U bolts" that hold everything together 2 each side... are those not shackles

From wikipedia
A shackle (also called gyve) is a U-shaped piece of metal secured with a pin or bolt across the opening, or a hinged metal loop secured with a quick-release locking pin mechanism. They are used as a connecting link in all manner of rigging systems, from boats and ships to industrial crane rigging. A carabiner is a variety of shackle used in mountaineering.

Those are just the U bolts used to hold the axle in place. Not uncommon to replace anytime the rearend is removed

Get a set of OUO traction bars. This will solve all your issues with axle wrap

Most times it is necessary, in my experience, to replace the U-Bolts. It doesn't take long for them get messed up.
