Going to pick up/drive my first lifted truck

Like the title says, I bought a 2008 Copper KR yesterday. It's in the shop right now getting a 4.5" icon and i found some 37x12.50x20 BFG KM2's cheap on craigslist. Never driven a lifted truck before so this should be interesting. Damn 200 bucks for balancing and alignment I love the look of lifted LB trucks so it should work. I know I know... I'll get pics ASAP. We are going to the beach this weekend so I'll try to take a few good ones!

Congrats on the truck! Hope you'll smiling like me today..
I'm curious to see how your steering feels after the kit and tires.

I haven't driven many lifted trucks but my truck steers like a ship right now. Don't know if thats 'normal'.

Man, I LOVE the truck. It rides better than stock and looks incredible! I was really suprised how well it rolls down the road. With the 3.73's and 37's it certainly need to be programmed.... I wish it has 4.10's but o well. Like I said, I'll get pics soon

I would CERTAINLY point anyone in the direction of an Icon lift. Great looking and performing package. I couldn't be happier with the lift. Big Thanks to Woodlands Performance Suspension... Any one is Houston, these guys are great, very personable. I would highly suggest them to anyone.

I have the same lift my axle looks the same asyours.. The axle needs to be centered with a block with an offset or adjustable pin. I also heard that a tapered block will center it as well. I'm a sure a qualified person will verify or answer your question.
