My JL Audio System

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I completed my system in my truck and give a few details. I dont have any pictures as everything appears to be stock in the truck which is how I wanted it.

For the head unit I went with the Pioneer AVIC F90-BT. This unit is a DVD/CD/NAV/IPOD/Bluetooth. It also is XM/Sirius/HD-Radio ready with some additional components. It was very affordable IMO and I really like it alot and would not hesitate to recomend it to anyone.

For the replacement speakers I used two sets of JL Audio C5-570x speakers. These are coaxial speakers and I chose these because I did not want to cut into the door panels to mount a separate tweeter. These fit right into the factory location using the same hardware and they sound great. JL Audio C5-570x Evolution Car Audio Speakers

The sub is a JL Audio 13tw5 in a JL Audio Stealthbox that fits under the center and driver rear seat. I was worried that I was going to want to add another sub but after getting everything tuned and set to where I like it im 100% satisfied with just the single 13" sub. The sub is super crisp with country or rock music and will hit the low notes from rap/dance music.Ford Superduty Stealthbox by JL Audio

For power of the speakers and the subs I chose JL Audios new HD900/5 amp. I wanted a simple clean install so I went with this 5 Channel Amp. This is basically a 300/4 amp and a 500/1 amp all packed into one very small but powerful package. JL Audio HD900/5 Amplifiers - Car Audio Amps & Amplifiers

Does anybody know of a decent sub box for a 99 supercab? Looking for it to go under the rear bench...

You read my mind I have been contemplating this exact build, I think I would have went with an eclipse head unit though. How much are you into this thing for?

I didnt really keep to much track of it all because I got a good discount on it all from a friend who is a dealer.

I really like the Pioneer Unit. I usually run alpine head units but the pioneer is packed with features, works well, and is easy to use.
