Help w/ Street Scene bumper valance install

I'm trying to install the Steet Scene bumper valance but the clips won't hold due to the amount of bumper lip. There is only about 1/4" lip, what are you guys doing to make this work? With only a small amount of pressure, the valance comes back out. Also, it would be nice to be able to keep the front licence plate if you have any advice on that. Thanks in advance...

I used the clips. Make sure you put that clear strip down on the top and bottom, it makes a big difference.

I used black zip ties for my grille though. Couldn't get the clips to work without destroying my factory insert.

Thanks Jesse, I got everything installed, combo of zip ties & clips. I am disappointed w/ the quality. Sure looks like they could come up w/ a better way to install considering price paid for Steet Scene product. I like the final look but piss poor quality. I actually thought this would replace the factory plastic install & not go over top of it. Thanks again for your reply, your truck looks awesome.......

I thought the same when i bought mine and I have been wanting to get the fender vent to match but was afraid it went over the plastic red instead of replacing it.

NO, don't be afraid. I bought the fender vents first & they go in to replace factory pink sh-t, perfect fit & quality. That is why I bought the grill & bumper valance. Just be careful not to chip your paint w/ your pry tool to get the emblem off. Quality & looks are a 10, not a 3 in quality like the grill & valance. Vent install will take about 15 mins total.

Gutts, sorry, I forgot to mention. You might want to plan to paint your inner fender behind the vent when you have them out. I painted mine black because my truck is white & you could see thru the Street Scene vent & see white inside the fender behind it. If you're prepaired for this, it may keep you from having to take them back out. Maybe your truck is a dark color & it won't matter.
