'08 interior in '04 cab?

Will an '08 interior swap into an '04 cab? (complete dash, door panels, seats, etc.). The complete drivetrain would be coming from the '08 model as well. Are there any interchangability issues between the '04 and '08 cabs? Thanks for helping out a newbie to the forum. I searched but didn't have any luck.

I believe it is pretty much a direct swap as far as the interior goes. The dash would require all the framework behind the plastics, as well as the wire harnesses, etc. You would need all sensors and wiring for auto ac if equiped, roof console computer, etc. I believe you would need the PCM, instrument cluster controls, etc form the 08 as well to make that part function, so the drive train and controls would be important if you have access to it. Big job, but doable if you have all the parts.
