Think I solved my Traction Problem

Well I've been struggling in the 60' departmeant the last few times at the truck. One thing I remember from my mustang days is a wider tire is not always better. So with that in mind, I switched to a slightly narrower BFG KM2 37x12.50x20 tire.

These things are the quietest tire I've ever run in an MT. That includes Toyo, Kumho, Pro Comp, and Mickey Thompson tires...

So I tried a 4 wheel launch today on the street at 10PSI and had ZERO spin like I was getting with the KL71's

Couple new ones with the new tires. BFG KM2's

I think I've seen more pictures of this truck than I've seen my truck in person.

Good choice on the tires. I still plan on trying them out.

Not enough wheel spin, Ian.

Jesse, did you ever "test and tune" with different tire pressures on the track for better 60' times?

Have you tried airing the crap out of the front tires to 65-75lbs and dropping the rear psi to 35lbs so the front will spin but still pull a lil and the rear will hook up? I only got to try it once on a prepped track but no times it was a silly hand drop grudge event, but it seemed to help my launch and eliminate the wheel hop. maybe i'm done breaking axles!
