I run Procomp XMT's as winter tires on any trucks I winter drive(all the good one's are parked for the winter), and these tires are awesome in the snow. Traction in snow has been great and I run 285/75X16's on 2 Jeeps(1 CRD Liberty and 1 4.0 I-6 Cherokee) and 1 Dodge 2500 Cummins. The Jeeps are just driven, but the Dodge plows some serious snow and well I must add. I have run this as a summer tire on a 7.3 F350 with great success but it's not a 30,000 mile tire on a high HP truck. I swap tires for the summer and run Nitto's new Dura grappler for the summer, this has turned out to be a very good tire for rain and traction. Hope this helps.

The tire shops around here charge $25 a tire to do it, I'll try to get a couple pics in the next couple days. If siping isn't enough for you you can also get them studded.

The Firestone wintre force tire is a very good traction tire, I am trying it on a 2000 blaser and they seem to be doing a great job.
