Question Buying New Tires This Week!!!

So, I got 47K out of my factory Continentals. I am now ready for something more aggressive to change the look on my '08 F250 KR. Couple of questions for the more experienced modifiers;

1. What is the largest tire I can put on my stock KR 18's?

2. What is the largest tire I can put on a 20" XD Revolver, keeping in mind I don't want the tires to protrude too far past the fender wells?

I am considering a Readylift SST 2.5" lift, although I may not be able to swing it right now.

Thanks in advance for your expertise. I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks.

1. You can put 35" tires on stock rims and either A) not rub the control arms or B) barely rub the control arms. The difference between A) and B) depends on what tire you run. You could put 37's on the stock rims, but they would rub the control arms because the rim doesn't stick out enough.

2. Those 20 x 10's have -24mm offset (4.06" backspacing). The tires will stick out a few inches. My 18 x 9's stuck out a little with 5" backspacing, meaning only 4" from center stuck out. Yours will have 6" from center stick out, so that tells me those 20 x 10's will stick out 2" more than my rims did. That's pretty far IMO

So far, I think I am going to forgo the rims. Do a 2.5" level and then use the factory KR rims and put BF Goodrich 35x12.5R18 MT T/A tires on. Any feedback???

Both of those plans sound good.

00Weaver68 has 35" Toyo's on stock King Ranch Rims, but I think he just did 2" front level and left the rear alone, I can't remember, you'll have to ask him. Here's his truck:

You have two blocks on the rear or one big block? I guess your front is 2.5" then. F it, how about you tell us, and I'll shut up.
