"C Notched" Trans Crossmember for Lifted Trucks!

A few people asked me about this and i finally got around to removing it and having it powder coated black instead of the nice Rust color that it was turning. Fabbed up a C notched tranmission cross member, above instead of below so that the front drive shaft wouldn't hit on full suspension droop.

Here is the installed pics, waiting on a new drive shaft from high angle drive lines should be in the first part of the January! After that its track time! Dual 42 dgree CV back and front and flanged yoke for the front differential!!

**Posted this at the Org but I think it was here that some one was looking for pics...***

That's pretty cool. Most that notch the X-member brace it on bottom. I like the brace on top. Doesn't hang down.

This been installed for a while it was just rusting from the welding i did so I took it off to powdercoat it. I don't think I'm going to lower it until I find someone that wants to buy the suspension as a full kit. I'm not parting it out or taking it off without some one to buy it. I'm giving it away at $10k, I don't want to have to look at it collecting dust in my garage.

No luck a few offers but nothing serious. People just don't have the cash to pony up for it in this economy. I don't need to sell it, the trucks paid for, I just wanted to see if I would get any bites on it.

Yeah its kinda pointless to do it like that but to each there own I figured out a better way and it works.
